Tour Program: 1 Week Morocco itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech » Transfer to the Riad

Your 7-day tour from Marrakech begins with a pick-up from the airport by an experienced tour guide. After meeting your guide, he will transport you to a traditional riad in the medina for the night.

Day 2: Sightseeing Tour of the City

Embrace the vibrant culture, fascinating history, and breathtaking beauty of Marrakech. Set off on a city tour after meeting a local guide. An overview of the places you may anticipate to see is as follows: Quranic Mosque of Ben Youssef, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the Old Medina (Market). The mosques of Koutoubia and Jamaa el Fna. Once you say goodbye to your local guide, you’re free to explore the Medina at your own pace.

Day 3: Marrakech » Tizi N’Tichka » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Ouarzazate » Rose Valley » Boumalne Dades (Gorge)

You will begin your trip to Boumalne Dades on the third day of your 7 -day in Morocco, departing from Marrakech. While traveling, we will stop at the following locations: In Tizi N’Tichka, a position 2260 meters above sea level. Another must-see is the Ait ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s most renowned kasbah dating all the way back to the 11th century. In this region, the Berbers constructed the Kasbah. Nothing fancy, just brick and clay, for this structure.

Later Lunch break, then back on the road to Ouarzazate, a Berber town famed for being the setting for many Hollywood films, which has brought much-needed economic stability to the area. Kalaat M’Gouna, also called the Rose City, is our final destination. What makes the pulse here more quick is the production of the locals. When we visit this town, we’ll stop by a women’s cooperative to see how they harvest the abundant roses for their many uses. Soap, body wash, body lotion, and a plethora of other products are on offer. We will later deliver you to your riad.

Day 3: Boumalne Dades » Tinghir » Todgha Gorge » Rissani » Sahara Desert (Camel Ride)

Our journey to the Sahara Desert begins at Boumalne Dades after a leisurely breakfast. Before continuing south, we will make a quick stop at the Dades Gorge—the lone attraction that isn’t already here—and then make two more stops, one of which will be at the breathtaking Todgha Gorge. Among the world’s most geologically remarkable locations, the gorge offers a breathtaking panorama from its vantage points, particularly for rock climbers. As the Todgha and Dades rivers joined, a stream developed that ran for almost 28 kilometers; over time, the two rivers pushed their way through sandstone and limestone, eventually merging into a massive river that is around 500 meters deep.

The Last stop is planned for Rissani city, which is the ancestral home of the present king’s family and the ancient site of the Alaouite dynasty. Many large caravans would stop at Rissani for a few days to sell their goods after traveling from Africa. The town has a long history of commerce. After that, we’ll go to the Sahara Desert, where your peaceful camels are patiently waiting to provide you with an unforgettable adventure. On a camelback, you’ll ascend steep dunes to a vantage point over the countryside, where you’ll have time to soak in the breathtaking sunset. Make sure to bring your camera. As the sun goes down, you’ll get back on the camels and ride them again to your desert tent. You will spend the night at this specific spot.

Day 4: Sahara Desert Excursion by 4*4

Embark on a mesmerizing Sahara Desert tour today and see the rich culture and stunning scenery of Morocco’s most famous desert. The journey starts at the Gnawa Village, where you can feel the pulsating traditional music and get a fascinating look into Morocco’s storied musical history. As we continue our trek into the desert, we will be welcomed into the tents of nomadic Berber tribes who will share tales of their old rituals and give us insights into their nomadic way of life. Next, we’ll find a quiet oasis in the desert, a place where palm palms swing in the wind and cold water offers relief from the scorching sun.

Come to a close by visiting the mountain mine, a place where the huge desert below is dramatically contrasted with rocky terrain and jagged peaks. Marvel at the breathtaking scenery as you explore the mineral-rich terrain, uncovering the earth’s secrets along the way. On this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, you will see the various and fascinating Sahara Desert attractions up close and personal, creating experiences that will last a lifetime. Beginning in Marrakech, Moha and I traveled to the Sahara Desert, Chefchaouen, the Blue City, and many other amazing locations. My entire family had a fantastic time on our excursion as well. During our 7-day stay in Morocco, Africa North Journeys provided us with excellent service, and I’m pleased to write this review on their behalf. I would suggest them to anyone planning a trip to Morocco without hesitation.
