⇒ Day 1: Casablanca » Rabat » Chefchaouen

In this morning of our 10 Days Morocco Tour, we will be waiting for you at Mohamed Airport and take you to your hotel in Casablanca. Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco and one of the most important economic centers. After you have recovered a little from your trip, a visit to the largest mosque in Morocco. Hassan 11 Mosque, located on the west coast of the city, awaits you. Now it is time for a lunch break. We will be happy to advise you about local or even European restaurants and cuisines. Afterwards, we will explore the city together with a visit to the great Cornich  of Casablanca. You will have dinner at your accommodation.

⇒ Day 2: Day in Rif Mountains

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we will start the day early with the first crossing to Rabat, the Moroccan capital. We will explore the Kingdom Palace before heading to the mausoleum of the last King of Morocco, Mohammed V, considered a masterpiece of modern architecture of the Alaouite dynasty. After exploring the most fascinating places of Rabat, we will continue to the blue city of Chefchaouen, where we will spend the night in a local hotel.

⇒ Day 3: Chefchaouen » Volubilis » Fes

After a traditional breakfast we stroll together through the quiet streets of Chafchaouen and immerse ourselves in the special atmosphere and colorfulness of the city. Afterwards we will take the road to Volubilis and enjoy the beautiful route from here. Volubilis is an archaeological site, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the area of the prefecture of Meknès. It displays the best-preserved monuments from Roman antiquity in this part of North Africa.

Then we continue our journey to Meknès, an ancient Berber city and the smallest of the royal cities. It is located at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains. There we will enjoy a traditional lunch and then explore the city. We will then continue to Fez, the oldest royal city and one of the most important centers of spirituality and culture in Islam. Here we will spend the night in a local hotel or riad.

⇒ Day 4: Guided medina of Fes

Today we will explore the city of Fez together. We will visit the great gate of the royal palace and visit the famous al-Qarawiyin University, founded in 859 by the rich merchant’s daughter Fatima el-Fihrya. Its influence spread to Europe through the schools of Islamic Spain. Tanneries and the Attarine Museum are also among our destinations.

After a lunch break, we will go to the most attractive part of the city – the Medina. Here we soak up the exoticism of the place, exploring the narrow streets and visiting epic monuments like the main gate of the medina – the Babb Boujloud. Fès el Bali is a paradise for local handicrafts in a wide variety of colorful Moroccan orientations, such as leatherwork, metalwork, etc. In the afternoon we will take you to your beautiful hotel/riad for overnight stay with breakfast.

⇒ Day 5: Fes » Midelt » Erfoud » Merzouga

This day we explore the High Atlas Mountains, the most fascinating and beautiful natural regions of Morocco. We start in Ifran, a clean and unique town in an area also called Moroccan Switzerland. Our journey continues through the largest cedar forests in Morocco, inhabited by the endangered Barbary macaques. We pass the Tizi Ntalghamtt – a winding pass – through the rocky Ziz Gorge to the oases of Tafilalt. Then we will continue to Errachidia. Here we will have lunch and enjoy the hospitality of the local Berbers.

Afterwards we will continue to Merzouga – with stops in between to enjoy the great paronama view of the Ziz valley. In Merzouga you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea in our hotel. It is time to relax and arrive in the desert. Enjoy the view of the imposing dunes and the vastness. At the end of this exciting day, you will admire one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

⇒ Day 6: Merzouga desert and camel excursion
After a Healthy Moroccan breakfast in your camp. We will hike the dunes by 4×4 to start our tour, in around the Erg Chebbi dunes. Populated desert region of sand: Among the many stops that lie ahead. You will have an opportunity of life to discover how and where nomadic families living in the area. Then we pay the nomads a visit, in their handmade woven tent. Inevitable stop as we passed through the village of Khamelia of people originating in Mali and Senegal. We will enjoy a nice concert of Gnawa music, while a delicious tea taste.
 
Afterwards we continue to Mefiss a place where Berber were worked in extracting Eyeliner from the mountains, since many years ago. And where the French army were lived in colonial days. We stay for a few minutes, and we keep going to a local restaurant specialized in Berber Pizzas. Back to the hotel to relax and enjoy your free time, Dinner and overnight in the Hotel. 
⇒ Day 7: Merzouga » Todra valley » Dades Valley

Today you will have an early start to enjoy perhaps the most beautiful sunrise of your life. Back at the hotel, you can freshen up and have a sumptuous breakfast to fuel you for the day. Now we leave the Merzouga desert and make our way to the Dades Valley (the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs), the water artery of the desert region. On the way, we will pass through Rissani, Erfoud (a historical region and an archaeological treat, full of fossils) and Tinghir, where we will get to know the traditional rural life of this region, whose beautifully built houses characterize the landscape of the largest oasis.

Finally, we reach the Todra Gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco – undoubtedly one of the most spectacular natural attractions Morocco has to offer. The narrow gorges with their steep walls that reach up to 300 meters in height impress every visitor. Continue through the Dades Valley, where you will see the most amazing sandstone formations, some of them also called “monkey toes”. Overnight stay in a typical regional riad.

⇒ Day 8: Dades Gorges » Ouarzazete » Marrakech

On our 8th day we drive to Ouarzazate, where we visit the Kasbah Taourirt – in former times the residence of the Pachà of Marrakech. The Kasbah features the typical traditional Berber architecture. The structure is largely made of rammed earth and mud bricks and is one of the most impressive and best-preserved examples of its kind. At the height of its power in the late 19th century, the Kasbah controlled one of the most important trading centers through the Sahara. 30 km from Ouarzazate, we encounter another famous kasbah.

The Kasbah Ait Benhaddou! It impresses by its authenticity. Everything here seems to be left true to the original – even the small museum tempts you to touch the old originals. We continue to the Kasbah of Telouet, which also lies on the old caravan route. In the afternoon we reach the highest point of our route, Tizi’n Tichka (2260 meters altitude) and continue to Marrakech. Overnight stay in local hotel or riad.

⇒ Day 9: Marrakech Tour guide

Today we will visit Marrakech with its beautiful gardens, Bahia Palace (residence of the old Visir), the Mosque of the Koutobia with its magnificent minaret and of course the incredible Djemma El-Fnà square, an old traditional market that offers both locals and tourists everything from services, food stalls of all varieties, everyday items to music, drumming and dancing. Overnight stay in local hotel or riad.

Day 10: Casablanca airport Transfer

in this last day of our tour and our driver will transfer you to the airport. Your 10 Day Morocco Tour from Casablanca will come to an end with a drop off at your local hotel or airport.
