Tour Program: 7 Days itinerary Morocco

    7 Days in Morocco

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech » Sightseeing Tour of the City

Your 7-day Morocco tour from Marrakech begins with a pick-up from the airport by an experienced driver. Once you meet each other at the airport’s exit door he will transport you to the Riad in Medina, where you can leave your luggage in the room and begin your city tour. Your guide today will be a native who is well-versed in all of the city’s landmarks and hidden treasures, guiding you as you see the sights. After meeting your guide at the Riad, go sightseeing in the city.

The three-hour sightseeing tour takes you to visit the most ancient landmarks of the red city (Marrakech), such as the Old Medina (market) and Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. After a break for lunch, continue wandering with your local guide and visit Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. Lastly, you will reach the Jamaa el-Fna and the Koutoubia Mosque. Saying goodbye to your local guide will allow you to explore Medina at your own pace and return to the riad for the night.

Day 2: Marrakech » Tizi N’Tichka » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Ouarzazate » Rose Valley » Boumalne Dades (Gorge)

Today, on the third day of your 7-day Morocco tour, we will embark on a journey across the High Moroccan Atlas Mountains after bidding farewell to the vibrant city of Marrakech. Just two hours after our departure from Marrakech, we will have a panoramic view. The sight of the Atlas Mountains, adorned with snow, may be very enchanting if you’re fortunate enough to see it. Tizi N’Tichka stands at an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level. Take a break, and then we may continue driving to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Several films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, have featured here. The next stop should be Kalaat M’Gouna, a place with a breathtaking view of the Rose Valley. After that, we head to Boumalne Dades for a peaceful mountain night. (Amid a Beautiful Riad).

Day 3: Boumalne Dades » Tinghir » Todgha Gorge » Rissani » Sahara Desert (Camel Ride)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast while the birds sing. After you finish, we drive to the Dades Gorge for a short visit, as well as the famous Monkey Finger Rock. After visiting these two breathtaking locations, we depart for the Sahara Desert, stopping at two captivating locations: Todgha Gorge and Rissani Market. Once we arrive at the Todgha Gorge, feel free to stroll along the breathtaking river that meets the Dades River. This river forms a stream that extends for approximately 28 km, slowly carving the sandstone and limestone into a giant river with a depth of approximately 500 meters. Next, we continue to Rissani, the original area of the Alaouite dynasty, from which the current king’s family descends. Since ancient times, Rissani has been known as a commercial town.

Many major caravans from Africa stayed here for a few days to sell their goods. From there, we move to our destination, the Merzouga Desert. Upon arrival, mount your camel to the desert camp for a memorable overnight stay. In the camp, enjoy a delicious dinner and the ambience that the staff creates.

Day 4: Sahara Desert Excursion by 4*4

Today we start a round trip to see the Gnawa musicians, stop for tea with real nomads, and visit a fossil museum. The area is famous for its fossil treasures and wealth. Next, have lunch at a local restaurant specializing in pizza making. After that, continue to wander in one of the area’s oases! If you still want some extra adventure, you can rent a quad and drive through the dunes or “sandboard (free rental)” in the afternoon. Dinner and night at a wonderful hotel.

    Day 5: Sahara Desert » Alnif » Tazarine » Nakoub » Ouarzazate

Today is the last day in the desert. Feel free to have a last wander in front of your hotel, which is located at the edge of the dunes. Once you are ready to go, we leave the fascinating golden dunes and drive to Ouarzazate via Alnif, Nakoub, and Tazarine. Along the way, we will make several stops to witness the beautiful road’s landscapes. After enjoying lunch in Nakoub, we will proceed to Ouarzazate where we will spend the night.

    Day 6: Ouarzazate » Telouet

From Ouarzazate’s busy alleyways, where cinematic stories resound in kasbahs and studios, the road winds through rocky terrain with historic mud-brick towns and terraced farms. The route climbs into the High Atlas Mountains, offering views of rugged peaks and lush valleys. In the afternoon, we reach our destination, Telouet, for an overnight stay in a simple Auberge, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 7: Telouate » Marrakech Airport

Today we drive back to Marrakech from Telouet Village. We will transfer you directly to the airport of Marrakech or to your booked accommodation, depending on your departure time. From then on, the 7-day itinerary in Morocco comes to an end.

What an amazing journey we’ve set out on with Mohamed from Casablanca. Due to the fact that this journey really is an experience of a lifetime, I could even give it a hundred stars. The whole journey was a huge success for my little family and myself. This family business is fantastic, and I will be sure to tell all my American friends about it. I would suggest this 7 Days in Casablanca to everyone.
