Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech » Sightseeing Tour of the City

Welcome to Morocco! The first day of your 8-day Morocco tour starts at the airport in Marrakech. Our driver is there to transfer you to the Riad, where you will stay for the night. If your arrival time was during the morning or midday, a local guide from the region of Marrakech will show you all around the city’s attractions and explain all that you need to understand about this historical and imperial city. The sightseeing tour includes the ancient Medina, the Mosque of Koutoubia, as well as the Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, Jamaa el F’na Square, and other enchanting sites.

Day 2: Marrakech » Tizi N’Tichka » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Ouarzazate » Rose Valley » Boumalne Dades (Gorge)

Today, on your second day in Morocco, we leave the vibrant city of Marrakech behind and drive over the high Atlas Mountains. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see the stunning snow-capped mountains. In Tizi N’Tichka, the station sits at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level.

Afterward, we move on to the Ait ben Haddou Kasbah. UNESCO designated this 17th-century building as a World Heritage Site in 1987. Numerous films have incorporated this cultural significance. They number in hundreds, such as The Gladiator and Game of Thrones… Thereafter, we continue to Ouarzazate, than Kalaat M’Gouna, for a spectacular view of the Rose Valley. Finally, we will reach our destination, Boumalne Dades in late afternoon, to spend the night at a beautiful riad in the middle of the mountains.

Day 3: Boumalne Dades » Tinghir » Todgha Gorge » Rissani » Sahara Desert (Camel Ride)

Before leaving for the Sahara Desert, we pay a visit to the stunning gorge of Dades and the Monkey Finger Rock. Later, we head to another stunning gorge located 30 kilometers away from Tinghir city. Take a walk along the river to appreciate the place and witness God’s creation. After lunch near the gorge, we set off again to Rissani, where we will only have a wander at its very ancient market that goes live three times per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday).

From Rissani, we continue directly to our destination. Once we arrive the Merzouga Desert, you can ride your camels and traverse the captivating golden dunes to reach your desert camp. Once you are there, the staff of the camp will greet you with a glass of mint tea and then show you your tent. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner and music around the campfire under the vast open sky of stars.

As we travel north, the Atlas Mountains, with their towering peaks, appear, changing the landscape. After a break for lunch, we continue to the Cedar Forest, a testament to nature’s perseverance, where aged trees speak ancient tales.
