7 days in Morocco from Marrakech. This 7-day, 6-night tour designated only for travelers looking to discover the imperial cities and the north of Morocco. This trip begins in Marrakech and ending in Tangier. On the First day of the tour an experienced driver will greet you and pickup you from the Airport to the Riad in the Medina. On your second day, we will dedicate it to introducing you to Marrakech’s historical landmarks. The third day, we depart for Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital, and you will visit Rabat, the capital and royal city.
On the fourth day, we will drive to Fes, the scientific capital. The fifth day, you’ll be exploring Fes with an experienced local guide from the area. Sixth day, we leave Fes and drive north to Chefchaouen via the imperial city of Meknes and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. On the seventh day, which is the final leg of your 7 Days in Morocco tour, we will head to Tangier. After exploring the city of Tangier, your driver guide will transfer you to the airport where your tour ends.
Your 7-day in Morocco from Marrakech begins with a pick-up from Menara airport in Marrakech by an experienced tour guide. After meeting your guide, he will transport you to a super traditional riad located in the heart of Medina.
Spend your second day in Morocco exploring Marrakech and its hidden gems with a local tour guide. Start your journey with the renowned Koutoubia, a 12th-century mosque. Next, visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. Later, visit Medina’s Souks to see what handcrafters make. After lunch at a local restaurant in the Medina, bid farewell to your guide and explore Jamaa El Fna Square independently. There, you’ll witness storytellers, acrobats, scouts, and numerous astounding feats. After having dinner outside, walk back on your own to the Riad.
After spending two days in Marrakech, we say goodbye to the red city and move to other exciting places and sites. After leaving Marrakech behind, we meet Casablanca in front. Casablanca is the largest city in the Kingdom, with a population of around 4 million. During our visit to Casablanca, we will discover the Hassan II Mosque, which is considered the second-largest mosque on the continent of Africa. After visiting the iconic Hassan II Mosque, we will stroll in the Cornish Cathedral. Furthermore, we continue to Rabat, the light city and the current capital of Morocco. Once we arrive, feel free to visit the Hassan Tower, the Oudayas Kasbah, and the Kasbah of Challah. Later, we drop you off at a charming hotel for an overnight stay.
Today we will take the highway to Fes, where 200 kilometers lie ahead of us. After having your breakfast, feel free to have a wander at Rabat’s Medina and Market if you wish. Once you are ready to go, your driver guide will pick you up from your Riad and head directly to Fes. Your driver will stop any time you request, whether for a restroom, lunch, or a break. You will be dropped off at your accommodation for the night once you arrive in Fes.
Today is a day to dive into the history of this ancient city of Fes, and no one disputes that this city is the most authentic in Morocco as a whole. Idriss I built the city in 789. Idriss was a descendant of the Messenger and Prophet Mohamed. Until 1912, Fez served as the royal capital of Morocco under French rule. Fez is considered the oldest city in Morocco, having existed for more than thirteen centuries. Our visit today includes many historical sites, such as the Golden Palace gates. It’s really a massive gate that contains intricate woodwork and beautiful, colorful tiles. It is a treat for the eyes.
Next, a walk beside the huge walls of the palace feels like no other. The palace is well-secured, as evidenced by the military posts strategically placed throughout. Furthermore, we continue our visit to the pottery factory, where the craftsmen make a variety of tools, such as ceramic vessels, tiles, and much more. You will be truly amazed by this wonderful world of pottery. Next to the magnificent Panorama, known as Borj Sud or South Tower in English, the old Medina of Fes serves as a backdrop for a stunning photo.
Subsequently, we embark on a journey to the Medina, immersing you in a realm brimming with history and civilization. Your local guide will lead you to explore the following sites: The Najjarine Fountain, Medrasa Bouanania, and Quaraouin’s Mosque and University, built by Fatima Al-Fihri in 859, are the world’s oldest universities. Spend the night in a luxurious Riad.
Today’s titles include diving into ancient history and exploring the old civilizations. From Fes, we move to Chefchaouen via Meknes, where you will discover the grandeur of the imperial city, with its impressive gates, expansive palaces, and vibrant souks. Next, we move on to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage site situated between Chefchaouen and Fes. Immerse yourself in the region’s history and marvel at the architectural achievements of the past. Later, we continue our trip to Chefchaouen. Stay overnight in a beautiful Riad.
