Day 1:Arrival in Marrakech ➝ Transfer to the Riad (Approx. 7 km – 15 to 20 minutes’ drive)

Today, the first day of your 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with a pickup from Marrakech Menara Airport. One of our professional driver-guides will transfer you to the medina, where you will spend the night in a fully traditional riad.

Day 2:Marrakech ➝ Tizi N’Tichka ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Rose Valley ➝ Boumalne Dades (330 km – Approx. 6 Hours’ Drive with stops)

The second day of your Morocco tour starts in Marrakech and continues toward Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we will visit several remarkable places. Our first stop is the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, located at an elevation of 2,260 meters above sea level, connecting Marrakech to Ouarzazate. We will also visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s most famous kasbah, dating back to the 11th century.

Next, we continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa,” a city renowned for hosting numerous film productions. A century and a half ago, Ouarzazate was only a military settlement before becoming one of Morocco’s most famous cities. Our final stop is in Kalaat M’Gouna, known as the Rose City. Finally, we continue to Boumalne Dades, where you will spend the night.

Day 3:Dades Gorge ➝ Todgha Gorge ➝ Sahara Desert of Merzouga (250 km – Approx. 6 Hours’ Drive with stops)

After breakfast and packing your luggage, we visit the Monkey Finger Rock formations and the breathtaking gorge located between M’semrir and Boumalne Dades. It is an incredible site where travelers can admire stunning views of mountains, rivers, and winding roads. From the Dades Gorge, we continue our drive to the Todgha Gorges, which stretch over a distance of 25 kilometers. These impressive rock formations are solid limestone cliffs carved by the Todgha River, which flows year-round through the valley.

After a stroll along the river, we continue our journey toward the Rissani Market. Upon arrival, we enjoy a half-hour walking tour of the market to see how different it is from the souks of Marrakech. After lunch in Rissani, we head toward the Merzouga Desert. There, you will experience a camel trek into the desert, admiring the ever-changing dune landscapes. You will spend the night in a luxury desert camp located in the heart of the Sahara.

Day 4:Sahara Desert Excursion by 4×4 ➝ Visit Nomads, Gnawa Village & Oasis (30 km – Approx. 4 Hours of Exploration)

Our journey to visit the Gnawa musicians begins today. We will also visit a fossil museum and enjoy tea with nomad families who live behind the Erg Chebbi dunes. Later, we head to Mefiss, where many mines still exist even after Morocco’s independence, and where some locals continue extracting fossils, kohl (eyeliner), and minerals from depths of 100 to 300 meters underground.

Next, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant specializing in traditional Berber pizza. After lunch, we continue our exploration with a visit to one of the area’s oases. If you are interested in experiencing the thrill of quad biking in the desert, please let your driver know so arrangements can be made. Afterward, we transfer you to the hotel. If you would like to spend more time on the dunes, you can also enjoy sandboarding (free rental). Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 5:Sahara Desert ➝ Erfoud ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Midelt ➝ Cedar Forest ➝ Ifrane ➝ Fes (470 km – 9 hours’ drive with stops)

Our visit to Morocco’s southeast ends here. Today, we leave the Sahara Desert and drive toward Fes, known as the scientific capital of Morocco. Along the way, we stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Ziz Valley. Later, we stop for lunch in either Zaida or Midelt. We also visit the Cedar Forest, home to the wild Barbary macaques. You may feed them if you wish, but please be cautious, as they can be unpredictable.

Afterward, we continue to Ifrane, often called the “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” Take time to wander through this charming town before continuing our journey. Later in the day, we arrive in Fes, where you will spend two unforgettable nights in a traditional riad located in the heart of the medina.

Day 6:Transfer to Fes Airport (Approx. 15 km – 25 to 30 minutes’ drive)

On the final day of your 6 Day Morocco tour, we will transfer you to Fes International Airport.

Things to Know Before Your Trip:

Know Before You Go

Travel Documents

Make sure you bring all required travel documents, including a valid passport and any necessary visas for Morocco. Some nationalities may require additional permits, so it’s always best to check current entry regulations before your trip. Keeping digital backups of your documents on your phone is helpful in case of loss and makes hotel check-ins smoother.

Clothing & Essentials

Morocco’s landscapes vary widely, so pack clothing suitable for changing temperatures. Comfortable, breathable outfits are ideal for daytime, while evenings—especially in desert or mountain regions—can be much colder. Bring essential items such as sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and reliable walking shoes. A small backpack is useful for carrying your belongings during daily activities.

Weather Conditions

Weather conditions differ greatly from one region to another. Desert areas are hot during the day but cool at night, while mountain regions can be cold even in summer. Checking the weather forecast before your tour will help you pack properly and stay comfortable throughout your journey.

Hydration & Snacks

Staying hydrated is important, especially during longer drives or outdoor activities. We recommend carrying bottled water and light snacks such as fruit or energy bars. Your guide will make regular stops at cafés and local shops where you can purchase refreshments and discover local flavors.

Health & Safety

Your safety is our top priority. Our guides are experienced professionals who provide assistance and advice throughout your journey. If you have medical conditions or mobility concerns, please let us know in advance so we can adapt your tour accordingly. Following your guide’s instructions during activities ensures a safe and enjoyable experience.

Photography

Morocco offers endless photo opportunities, from desert dunes to ancient kasbahs. You are welcome to take photos, but always ask permission before photographing people. To avoid running out of battery during long days, we recommend bringing a portable charger or power bank, as some remote areas have limited electricity access.

Cash & Payments

While credit cards are accepted in many cities, smaller villages and rural areas often operate on a cash-only basis. Carrying Moroccan dirhams (MAD) is recommended for small purchases, tips, and personal expenses. ATMs are available in most cities, but less common in remote areas, so withdrawing cash beforehand is helpful.

Respect Local Culture

Morocco is a culturally rich and welcoming country. When visiting traditional villages, religious sites, or rural areas, modest clothing is appreciated. Your guide will explain local customs and etiquette to help you interact respectfully. Learning a few basic Arabic words like “Salam” (hello) and “Shukran” (thank you) can enhance your experience.

Transportation Comfort

All our tours use modern, air-conditioned vehicles designed for comfort during short and long journeys. Throughout the drive, your guide will arrange regular breaks for restrooms, stretching, photos, and snacks. Our vehicles are maintained to high safety standards to ensure a smooth and enjoyable ride.

Flexibility & Personalization

We understand that every traveler has different interests. Our tours are designed to be flexible, allowing you to adjust timing, add optional stops, or personalize parts of the itinerary. Simply let your guide know your preferences, and we will do our best to make your experience memorable and tailored to your needs.
