Here, you can witness and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Atlas before continuing our journey to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Originally, the Kasbah consisted of numerous constructed houses, encircled by a wall to provide protection from the enemy.
The inhabitants of the Kasbah can control every action from the watchtower at the top of the Kasbah. Afterward, we continue our journey to Kalaat M’Gouna, an enchanting city renowned for its thousands of roses, also known as Rose City. We aim to gain a deeper understanding of the production process of various rose-based products. Our destination is next, not far away. Once we arrive, we will drop you off at your riad for an overnight stay.
A wonderful day is about to start! The third day of your tour begins with a visit to the breathtaking Dades Gorge and the famous Monkey Finger Rocks, both of which are fascinating and worth a visit. From there, we move on to Todgha Gorge in Tinghir region. It’s very famous because it’s a gorge that includes rivers, rocks, mountains, and trees. Take a walk along the river to see how important this water resource is to the locals in the area. Later We’ll stop to admire the valley’s magical landscape.
After lunch in one of the local restaurants, we continue to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, ride your camels, which will transport you to the desert camp. Once we reach the Nomads, we will enjoy tea under their handwoven tent, crafted from camel skin. Feel free to ask any questions you have about their way of life, lifestyle, and so on. After giving them a tip, we proceed to Mefiss, where we will have the opportunity to explore mines constructed by the French military. On the fourth day of your six-day Marrakech-Sahara Desert tour, we travel to Ouarzazate via charming sites and cities. Along the way, we will make a first pause in Rissani. The city has a famous market where all the inhabitants from the surrounding villages come to shop or to sell what they. The Villages account for 160 villages, including Merzouga, because most of the desert’s inhabitants come to Rissani to shop as well.
What is surprising here in the city is that all the villages have one mode of transportation, which is donkeys. For that reason, you can see in the parking full of donkeys instead of cars. The market is live three times a week (Thursday, Tuesday, and Sunday). From Rissani, we continue to Alnif, Tazarine, and Nakoub for a lunch break with a panoramic view of the valley. Furthermore, we continue to our destination, Ouarzazate, to spend the night in a lovely riad or hotel.
