Visit the capital city of Rabat and the economic city of Morocco, Casablanca. Last but not least, visit the coastal town of Essaouira. Finally we drive back to Marrakech after a 13-day of touring Morocco. In Marrakech, your tour ends.

    13 Days Around Morocco

    Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech » Transfer to the Riad

    Welcome in Morocco! One of our fantastic tour guides will pick you up from the Menara airport of Marrakech where your 13-day Morocco tour begins. The driver will transfer you to the Riad for overnight stay.

    Day 2: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

    We have designated today as a free day. Why? A local tour guide from Marrakech will meet you in your riad to begin a sightseeing tour of the city. Today is unique as it involves exploring one of Morocco’s ancient markets, exploring the city’s rich historical landmarks, and immersing yourself in the local culture, traditions, and lifestyles. In the imperial city of Marrakech, you will visit the following sites: Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, Saadian Tombs Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, make a pause in Jamaa el F’na Square for lunch, then Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the ancient Medina, where you will witness the wonders and exotics of the market. After you finish the tour, leave your local guide and meet your driver to transfer you to the Riad for a second stay.

    Day 3: Marrakech » Tizi N’Tichka » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Ouarzazate » Rose Valley » Boumalne Dades (Gorge)

    Our day begins in Marrakech, on the way to the breath-taking rocks of Dades. Today is filled with amazing landscapes and rich history. On the way, we have several stops to make. The first one is at 2260 meters above sea level in Tizi N. Tichka Pass, in the middle of the High Atlas Mountains. The next stop is Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah a village that serves as a symbol of Amazigh culture and mud-brick architecture in southeastern Morocco. Feel free to wander in each corner of the Kasbah to better understand how citadels in Morocco look like.

    Later, after lunch in one of the closest restaurants to the Kasbah, we leave for Kalaat M’Gouna, a city famous for the annual festival of roses. Feel free to pay a visit to one of the city’s cooperatives. Thereafter, we move on to Boumalne Dades, but before dropping you off in your riad, we will invest some time to visit the monkey’s finger rock and the Dades gorge. Once we visit these two stunning places, we transfer you to the Riad.

    Day 4: Boumalne Dades » Tinghir » Todgha Gorge » Rissani » Sahara Desert (Camel Ride)

    Day four of your Morocco tour 13 days itinerary assigns you to travel from Boumalne Dades to Todgha Gorge, a natural wonder renowned for its magnificent limestone cliffs that can reach 300 meters in height in certain places. In certain areas, the gorge narrows to just 10 meters wide. The gorge has a wonderful river; feel free to take a walk along that river to witness and appreciate the place’s magical landscapes. Afterwards, we leave for Rissani, where you can see the most lively souk in southeast Morocco.

    The souk is only live three times a week (Tuesday, Sunday, and Thursday). Finnlay: After Rissani, we reach our destination, the Merzouga Desert. Here, your camels wait to carry you across the dunes. Once we you arrive the desert camp, you will be welcomed by a glass of tea then later have a delicious dinner, before you go to sleep dance to the beat of Berber drums and complete your journey watching the vast open sky of stars.

    Day 5: Sahara Desert Excursion by 4*4

    Our journey to see the Gnawa musicians begins today. We’ll also visit a fossil museum and have tea with the actual nomads who live behind the erg Chebbi dunes. Later on, to Mefiss, where many mines exist even after Morocco’s independence, some locals are still extracting fossils, eyeliner, and minerals from 100 to 300 meters underground. Next, we will have lunch at a local restaurant that specializes in making Berber pizza. After that, we continue our explorations and visit one of the area’s oases! If you love to try the experience of quads in the desert, inform your driver with that so he can arrange it. Afterwards we will transfer you to the hotel. If you still want to enjoy your time in the dunes, take the “sandboard (free rental)”. Dinner at the hotel.

    Day 6: Sahara Desert » Erfoud » Ziz Valley » Midelt » Cedar Forest » Ifrane » Fes

    The ride from the magnificent Merzouga desert to the tiny city of Fes is a compelling tour of Morocco’s unique environment and cultural tapestry. As the sun sets over the Merzouga dunes, we’ll leave the wide desert behind. The journey takes you through Erfoud, which is famous for its fossil-rich terrain and untamed panoramas adorned with prehistoric stone artifacts. Next, head to the Ziz Valley, where lush palms swing in sync with the soft wind, providing a stark contrast to the dry sands beyond. Later, we will have lunch in Zaida before continuing our journey to Fes, passing through the Cedar Forest and Ifrane, which is known as the “little Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we move on to Fes for an overnight stay.

    Day 7: Fes Sightseeing Tour

    We spend the seventh day of our 13 Days Around Morocco itinerary touring Fez, home to the world’s oldest Medina. An experienced local guide from the area will undoubtedly conduct the sightseeing tour. You will first visit the Golden Royal Palace Gate, followed by the Borj Sud, which is located outside of Medina and offers a panoramic view of the old Medina. Then, visit the Pottery Factor to learn how handcrafters create unique items. Later You’ll enter the Medina to visit the Quaraouin mosque and university, which is the oldest university in the world, as well as the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, and the tanneries. Leisure time for lunch, then meet your driver take you back to the Riad.

    Day 8: Fes » Meknes » Volubilis » Rif Mountains » Chefchaouen

    Traveling from the ancient city of Fes to the charming village of Chefchaouen offers a fascinating journey through the cultural and archeological treasures of Morocco. Once you have packed your luggage, we depart from Fes and make our first visit to Meknes, one of the four imperial cities. Here, the majestic gates and historic homes honor Morocco’s former royalty.

    Traversing the path, one can see the far-off Volubilis ruins, which bear witness to the nation’s lengthy Roman past. This place transports tourists to the heights of the Roman Empire with its crumbling walls and worn columns, evoking thoughts of a bygone period. After lunch, we take a direct route to Chefchaouen. The aroma of jasmine fills the air as we arrive, and the sound of water falling from old fountains is calming. Stay for the night in a beautiful riad.

    Day 9: Free Exploration Day in Chefchaouen

    Are you ready to delve into Morocco’s blue pearl? Are you ready to wander the stunningly painted streets of Chefchaouen? Once you wake up in the morning, have a delicious breakfast in your riad, then start walking in the city’s blue alleys, where you can witness the magical blue houses and alleys. Later, visit Ras el Ma, a fascinating place where you can enjoy fresh orange juice as well as have lunch in the middle of a small river. Next, make a hike to the Spanish Mosque to see a wonderful view of the Blue City from the top of the ground. Later, return to Medina to continue strolling and enjoy the night’s vibes in a northern town. Once you have dinner in one of the restaurants in the city’s heart, make your way back to the Riad for a second night.

    Day 10: Chefchaouen » Tangier » Asilah

    The day ten of your Morocco tour 13 days itinerary starts from Chefchaouen and continues to Asilah via Tangier, making stops along the way for some interesting adventures. Our first stop will be Tangier, where we will visit the historic Medina. We’ll meander through charming streets, taking in the bustling ambiance of this historic city and the beauty of the architecture. After visiting the Medina, we’ll travel to Cape Spartel, a breathtaking site where the Atlantic and Mediterranean oceans meet.

    Furthermore, to the cave of Hercule. There is a legend that Hercules slept in this cave following his twelve labors. Eventually, we’ll arrive in Asilah, a quaint beach town renowned for its lively art scene and quaint white-washed buildings. When we get there, we can take leisurely strolls along the town’s stunning beaches, explore its alleys decorated with vibrant murals, and just enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. Spend the night on a stunning riad.

    Day 11: Asilah » Rabat » Casablanca

    After we hit the road to Casablanca via Rabat. As we drive, take in the breathtaking view that stretches out over the road. We begin our quick city tour as soon as we arrive, visiting Rabat, Morocco’s capital and royal city, as well as some of its lesser-known sights. First, proceed to the Hassan Tower, also known as Tour Hassan. Yacoub al-Mansour built this structure in 1195, and UNESCO has recognized it as a World Heritage Site. The tower is a part of a larger complex that houses the Mohammed V tomb. Additionally, we will visit the Oudayas Kasbah. After lunch, we depart from Rabat and head to Casablanca, where we’ll stay the night in a hotel.

    Day 12: Casablanca » Essaouira

    Today, we will be leaving Casablanca and heading to Essaouira town. Before we hit the road, we pay a short visit to the charming seventh-largest mosque in the world and the third-largest in Africa. Known as the Hassan II Mosque, once you finish the visit, we move on. We will be reaching Essaouira in the late afternoon. The overnight stay for tonight is a lovely Riad located at the heart of the Medina.

    Day 13: Essaouira » Marrakech

    We resume our Morocco tour 13 days itinerary, departing from Marrakech at your convenience and traveling back to the “red city,” also known as Essaouira. We pass a women’s cooperative en route that specializes in making wonderful goods from argan trees. When you arrive in Marrakech, we’ll take you to the airport whenever you want.
