Welcome to Morocco! The first day of your 8-day Morocco tour starts at the airport in Marrakech. Our driver is there to transfer you to the Riad, where you will stay for the night. If your arrival time was during the morning or midday, a local guide from the region of Marrakech will show you all around the city’s attractions and explain all that you need to understand about this historical and imperial city. The sightseeing tour includes the ancient Medina, the Mosque of Koutoubia, as well as the Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, Jamaa el F’na Square, and other enchanting sites.
Today, on your second day in Morocco, we leave the vibrant city of Marrakech behind and drive over the high Atlas Mountains. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see the stunning snow-capped mountains. In Tizi N’Tichka, the station sits at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level.

Take a walk along the river to appreciate the place and witness God’s creation. After lunch near the gorge, we set off again to Rissani, where we will only have a wander at its very ancient market that goes live three times per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday).
From Rissani, we continue directly to our destination. Once we arrive the Merzouga Desert, you can ride your camels and traverse the captivating golden dunes to reach your desert camp. Once you are there, the staff of the camp will greet you with a glass of mint tea and then show you your tent. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner and music around the campfire under the vast open sky of stars.
The sun is beaming down on the world with a gleam in its eye, so seize the moment and make sure you don’t miss the morning—it may be the most spectacular sunrise of your life. Today after a typical breakfast, we’ll go out on an exploration day to visit the Nomad families, the Gnawa Village, the oases, the Mifiss Mountain and the surrounding sites of Merzouga. Tonight’s stay is in a charming hotel located at the edge of the golden dunes.
From the Merzouga desert to Fes, Morocco’s diverse landscape and culture are captivating. As the sun rises and the dunes change color, we leave the desert’s peacefulness behind. Today’s first stop is Erfoud City, known for its fossil-rich terrain. The next is Ziz Valley, which contrasts the arid dunes with luxuriant palms waving in the gentle breeze. As we travel north, the Atlas Mountains, with their towering peaks, appear, changing the landscape. After a break for lunch, we continue to the Cedar Forest, a testament to nature’s perseverance, where aged trees speak ancient tales. Later, we go to Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where alpine architecture and beautiful environs greet us. We finally arrive in Fes for an overnight stay.
Today is Fes’ discovery day, just like you did in Marrakech. With an experienced local guide, explore the world’s oldest city’s history. Begin your journey at the Golden Gates of the Royal Palace, where you can admire its structure and antiquity despite restricted admission. Later, walk the site’s walls and admire them. Later, visit the Ceramics Factory to see local artisans make vases, bowls, glasses, tiles, and mosaics entirely from ceramics. Afterward, start discovering the ancient sights inside the Medina, such as the Medrasa Bouanania, tanneries, Najjarine Fountain, Qaraouin University, and Mosque. Finally, once you finish the sightseeing tour, your driver will pick you up to the Riad for a second night stay.
Explore Morocco’s cultural and archeological attractions today, from Fes to Chefchaouen. After packing your bags, we leave Fes and visit Meknes, one of the four imperial towns in Morocco, whose antique houses and towering gates reflect Morocco’s past monarchy. Our second Today’s visit is to Volubilis, which represents the nation’s Roman past and is visible from the walkway. Next, we make our way straight to Chefchaouen, passing through crumbling walls and ancient columns. Finally, after a full day of exploration, we reach our destination, Chefchaouen. Feel free to stroll and wander around the city’s alleys. Overnight stay in a charming riad.
The final phase of the 8-day Marrakech trip commences with an onward journey from Chefchaouen to Tangier, offering intriguing stops along the way. We’ll tour Tangier’s Medina. the Cape Spartel, and the Hercules Cave. Finally, once your departure time arrives, we will drop you off at the airport, marking the end of our 8-day itinerary in Morocco.
