Morocco itinerary: 5 Day Morocco tour from Agadir

    Day 1:Agadir - Taroudant - Taliouine - Agdez

An experienced Driver guide from Africa North Journeys will pick up you from the Airport setting off eastward through the majestic Atlas Mountains. As we traverse the scenic landscapes, our first stop in Tazenakht introduces you to the renowned Berber rugs and textiles of the region. Continuing on through winding mountain roads, we will be captivated by the rugged beauty of the High Atlas. Arriving in Agdez by evening, nestled in the Draa Valley, we will unwind with a delicious dinner and settle into your accommodations, preparing for the adventures ahead in Morocco’s southern realms.

Day 2:Agdez - Todgha Gorge - Merzouga Desert

Today’s journey leads deeper into Morocco’s desert wonders. Departing from Agdez, we will traverse the Draa Valley, known for its lush palm groves and traditional Berber villages. Upon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, you have the opportunity to contemplate the change in sand colors according to daylight, especially when sitting on top of these dunes, which are the highest in Morocco. Most visitors to Merzouga find simplicity away from the hustle and bustle of contemporary life. You will find your camels waiting for you in the Sahara Desert to take you on a trip of a lifetime. These are moments that you will undoubtedly never forget. Riding a camel gives you the opportunity to be amazed at the desert in slow motion. Beauty and magic are everywhere.

The golden sands are a haven for relaxation, enjoyment, and diving. The camels will cross the small and high dunes to reach your desert camp, which is located in the heart of the desert. You will sleep in a wonderful tent; there is nothing better than that. You will dance to Berber music’s songs with A full moon illuminates the night.

Day 3:Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Todgha Gorge - Boumalne Dades

Good morning! A new day brings new adventures. Pack your bags, say goodbye to the Sahara Desert, and let’s start the day by driving to Rissani, the center of the honorable Alawite state’s establishment. The city also played a significant role in trade, serving as a crucial crossing point for goods traveling from North Africa to the Levant or sub-Saharan African countries.

We have ample time to stroll through Rissani’s Market. We aim to explore the traditional crafts produced by the artisans in this small city. Explore its centuries-old alleys, dating back to the city’s inception. Next, we continue driving to The Todgha gorge stretches 25 kilometers from Rissani’s head. They are solid rocky components that do not break easily, have a red color, and reach a height of at least 300 meters. The turbid Todgha Valley, flowing year-round, penetrates them. Take a walk along the river, then head back to Boumalne Dades for an overnight stay in a lovely riad with a breathtaking panorama.

    Day 4:Boumalne Dades - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Tizi N T'ichka - Marrakech

After breakfast today, we will continue our journey to Marrakech. However, before departing Dades, we will stop at the Fascinating Gorge, a captivating location that we’ll reach after traversing enchanting curves. We call this location Tissadrin. We will spend just a few minutes at this magnificent location before resuming our journey to Kalaat M’Gouna, where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Rose Valley.

You have the option to either visit one of the women’s cooperatives, where you can observe and learn how they produce various products from roses or continue our journey to Ouarzazate city. It is known for its film studios, which constitute the pride of the region, as visitors share the joy of learning about this Hollywood epic by visiting it throughout the year.

    Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah

Thereafter, we move towards Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The stunning display of southern Moroccan architecture is believed to date back to the 17th century and contains a mosque, two cemeteries (Jewish and Muslim), a public square, and grain-threshing areas outside the walls. Afterward, we set off again, heading directly to the red city of Marrakech. Upon arrival we drop you off at a Charming Riad located at the Medina.

    Day 5:Marrakech - Agadir

Savor your final morning in Marrakech with visits to iconic landmarks like the Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs, each unveiling layers of Moroccan history and architectural splendor. A leisurely lunch at a traditional restaurant precedes a tranquil stroll through the Majorelle Garden, a haven of botanical beauty. Departing Marrakech, you’ll trace your journey westward back to Agadir, reflecting on the diverse landscapes, vibrant cultures, and warm hospitality that define your 5 days tour from Agadir.
