On the first day of your 13-day Morocco tour itinerary, your driver guide from Africa North Journeys will be waiting for you at the airport’s exit door. Following the meeting, your driver guide will pick you up to the hotel for check-in, after which you can visit the Hassan II Mosque, the Grandest Mosque in Casablanca, and, if you’d like, explore Cornish on your own and sample the local seafood. We will explore historic monuments such as the Grand Socco Square, Cup Spartel, and the ancient Medina of Tanger. This will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of this bustling city. Afterward, we continue to Chefchaouen via the fascinating landscapes of the Rif Mountains. When we arrive the Blue City, we will transfer you to your riad for overnight stay.
When visiting Chefchaouen, make the most of your free day by exploring the blue-washed streets, taking in the stunning views from the Spanish Mosque, and shopping for unique handicrafts in the local markets. Firstly, you will visit the Golden Royal Palace gate, followed by a visit to the Borj Sud, a location outside the Medina where you can capture a breathtaking view of the old Medina from a panoramic overlook. Today, we will travel from the Sahara Desert to Boumalne Dades. We will take the route via Rissani and pass through Todgha Gorge. The journey begins by heading north from the Sahara Desert to Rissani, a town known for its traditional markets and historical significance. From Rissani, we continue the trip towards Todgha Gorge, a stunning canyon with steep rock walls popular among hikers and nature enthusiasts. Finally, drive west to reach Boumalne Dades, a town nestled in the Dades Valley known for its beautiful landscapes and picturesque views. We start our tour today from your Riad in Dades, driving to Marrakech through Ouarzazate and the road of 1000 Kasbahs. We visit Ouarzazate in which you can take a pic in front of the Kasbah Taourirt, a largely preserved and restored castle complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site). After that, we set off for the widely famous Kasbah Aît Ben Haddou. Many famous movies have been filmed here – most recently “The Game of Thrones”. We spend some time there, visit the typical museum (entrance fee included), and stroll through the winding alleys of the medieval castle complex up to the observation tower.
