    Day 2: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

Recognized as the “red city,” or the “city of seven men,” for their contributions to the dissemination of culture, knowledge, and consciousness. As a result of its widespread popularity as a travel destination, Marrakesh was named the greatest destination in the world in 2014. In terms of ancient history, civilization, and impact, the city is on par with Fez.

Nevertheless, historians claim that a group of Amazigh tribes that arrived from the desert and gave their region the name Marrakech—an Amazigh term meaning “quickly passed”—built Marrakesh, not the French, Spanish, or Arabs. Following the transfer of sovereignty to the Almoravid dynasty, who also made significant contributions to the city’s prosperity and the construction of numerous historical monuments, the majority of Morocco was referred to as Marrakesh until French colonization; it was also known as Maroc in French, Morocco in English, and Marruecos in Spanish.

    → Historical Monuments:

Today’s itinerary includes visits to Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the Medina’s Souks. After having lunch on your own, continue your sightseeing trip at the Kotoubia Mosque, which is situated in the center of the Medina. At last, your guide will drop you off close to Jamaa El Fna Square so you may explore on your own. Plenty to see, including storytellers, acrobats, scouts, and much more, is still to come. Afterwards, make your way back to the Riad on foot, but don’t forget to have dinner at one of the clean-food eateries close to the jamaa El Fna.

The Todgha River met the Dades River and formed a stream extending for a distance of about 28 km, so that the two rivers slowly carved the sandstone and limestone and finally formed as a giant river with a depth of about 500 meters.

The other stop is scheduled in Rissani city the original area of the Alaouite dynasty from where the current king’s family belongs to. You will ride the camels once more when the sun sets to reach your desert camp, deep within the desert. The location of your overnight stay.

Day 5: Sahara Desert Excursion by 4*4

Without a doubt, it is a combination day for exploration and relaxation. Following a breakfast in the desert at your camp, we begin the day of discovery with 4×4 adventures on the dunes, leading to the nomads, where you may put up your hand-moved tent and sip Berber tea. Tipping the Nomads is a gesture of politeness, as their only source of income in the area is the gratuities left by visitors. The Meffis Mountains, an ancient site occupied by new people during French colonialism, comes next. A few structures still fit this far. But the French were taking everything out of the mountains and sending it to Thier land since the mountains were rich in minerals and eyeliner.

    → To Gnawa & Oases:

We then proceed to Khamlia Village, where only dark-skinned people reside. They are originally from Mali and Sudan, and their primary source of income is the old African rhythms that they sing for tourists, for which they are compensated with a tip, just like Nomads. Later, free time for lunch at a traditional restaurant specializing in Berber pizza. Our journey today concludes with a walk through one of the area’s oasis to explore what grows in the desert. Finally, we drop you off at the hotel so you can enjoy the remainder of the afternoon, evening, and night.

The journey from the stunning Merzouga desert to the little city of Fes is a captivating tour of Morocco’s distinct nature and cultural tapestry. As the sun sets over the Merzouga dunes, we will leave the vast desert behind. The voyage passes through Erfoud, which is known for its fossil-rich terrain and wild landscapes adorned with stone-set prehistoric artifacts. Next, visit the Ziz Valley, where lush palms sway in tune with the gentle breeze, offering a sharp contrast to the barren sands beyond.

As we go farther north, the surrounding terrain drastically changes and the Atlas Mountains, with their enormous peaks rising over the horizon, become visible. Visit the Cedar Forest afterwards, a tribute to the tenacity of nature where old trees tell ancient stories. Subsequently, they head towards Ifrane, traversing the small town dubbed the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where we are welcomed by refined architecture and immaculate surroundings.

    Day 7: Fes Sightseeing Tour

There is no denying that this historic city is the most genuine in all of Morocco; today is the perfect day to learn more about its past. The city was constructed in 789 under the reign of Idriss l. a descendant of Mohamed the prophet and the Messenger. French dominance over Morocco briefly established Fez as its royal capital until 1912, when the French took over. With a history spanning more than thirteen centuries, the Moroccan capital of Fez is regarded as the oldest. Among the many ancient sites we will be seeing today are the Golden Palace gates. It’s a truly enormous gate with exquisite woodwork and vibrantly colored tiles. It is a visual delight.

After you’ve gathered all of your belongings, we’ll leave Fes and head to Meknes, one of the four imperial cities. Pristine mansions and stately gates here pay tribute to Morocco’s illustrious past. As one walks along the trail, one may make out the distant ruins of Volubilis, which testify to the country’s long Roman history.

The ancient ruins here take visitors back in time to when the Roman Empire was at its greatest, with its deteriorating walls and weathered columns. Our journey to Chefchaouen is unobstructed after lunch. On our arrival, we are greeted by the sweet scent of jasmine and the soothing sound of water trickling from ancient fountains. Book a room at a stunning riad for the night.

Today is a lovely day because you may either spend it lounging in your riad or take another stroll about the stunning Medina, marveling at how the inhabitants transformed this once-downtrodden town into a popular destination for tourists in Morocco. Or, for a more adventurous sunset viewing, you can climb the mountain to the Spanish Mosque, perched high above the old Medina. Afterwards, return to the Riad. Later, it became a safe place for Moroccans and Jews who had been kicked out of Spain by the Catholic Morash. For a while, Chefchaouen was holy and only Muslims were allowed to enter it.
