    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier » Head to Chefchaouen


    Welcome to the Kingdom of Morocco, an enchanting and exotic country! Your 11 days in Morocco with Africa North Journeys start with a nice airport welcome pickup. You will meet your expert driver guide at the exit gate of the Ibnu Battuta Airport in Tangier and head directly to the city’s historical monuments to explore what this north African city has to show. Firstly, get to explore the Hercules cave; Secondly, visit the Cape Spartel; and lastly, take a stroll along the Medina’s narrow streets. From Tangier, we hit the road to Chefchaouen, known as the blue city or the blue pearl. Located in the heart of the Rif Mountains, you can enjoy a leisurely evening walking tour through the Medina and its surrounding areas to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the Rif region. Overnight stay at a fantastic Riad.


    Day 2: Free Exploration Day in Chefchaouen


    Today, keep up with yesterday’s strolls and wanders, and save some time to visit Outa Hammam Square, the beating heart of the town where life continues non-stop. Get lost in the blue-washed alleys of the Medina and let yourself dive into the charming color, which will make you feel comfortable and stress-free. Later, take a walking tour to Ras El Ma, an amazing place where you can have fresh orange juice or a tagine lunch in the middle of a baby river. At the same time, be open-minded and give a chance to the Berber women who stand there the whole day to dress you to look like a Berber. Tip them and keep up hiking to the Spanish mosque to catch a fabulous sunset over the Old Blue Medina. At the end of the day, make your way back to the Riad for an overnight stay.


    Day 3: Chefchaouen » Volubilis » Meknes » Fes


    Get your breakfast. Pack your luggage and let’s continue the Morocco 11 Days Tour adventure towards Fes via Volubilis. Once we arrive at the Empire Roman ruins, a city that lived through many different transformations and epochs until it became the capital of Mauritania, the most remote capital in that period, Pay the entry ticket and get to dive into this fascinating, historically rich city. Next, we keep driving to Meknes, known as the Ismaili Capital! One of Morocco’s imperial cities. It is characterized by its well-preserved medina, impressive architecture, and amazing cultural heritage. Get to discover the following sites: Bab El Mansour (Gate), Royal Stables, and Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, feel free to have lunch in one of the restaurants in the Medina, and then we will continue to Fes for an overnight stay at a fantastic Riad.


    Day 4: Sightseeing tour in Fes with a local tour Guide


    Today is like no other. You will get to discover the oldest Medina in the world. An unbelievable journey awaits you. After finishing your breakfast, a knowledgeable local guide is on the agenda for today! He will accompany you during the whole day to show you all the hidden gems of Fes and explain to you as much as possible the complex history of this rich city. Firstly Start with the royal palace’s golden gates. Next, head to Borj Sud for a stunning view of the Medina and its surroundings, next to the pottery factory. Later, immerse yourself in Medina and uncover its myriad wonders. Feel free to ask your guide any question you might have without hesitation. After lunch, continue wandering until around 4:00 or so. Say goodbye to your local guide and meet your driver to transfer you to the Riad for overnight stay.


    Day 5: Fes » Ifrane » Cedar Forest » Midelt » Zaida » Ziz Valley » Erfoud » Sahara Desert


    Your 11 Days in Morocco tour still brings so many beautiful wonders! After leaving Fes We will stop at Ifrane, a beautiful town famous for its red-roofed houses, lush greenery, and snowy peaks. Feel free to wander for half an hour or less, then let us keep driving to the natural, majestic cedar forest of Azrou, located in the Middle Atlas Mountains and renowned for its breathtaking beauty and rich biodiversity. The forest is home to a population of Barbary macaques. Later after lunch, we drive to the Ziz Valley, which demonstrates how important palm trees are here. This is due in large part to the palm trees that thrive here. They can withstand thirst and dry weather. These palms provide a source of livelihood for the area’s inhabitants.

    From there, we continue to the Sahara desert. Once we arrive, ride your camel and let it lead you on a magical journey through the golden sand. While you’re crossing the small and large dunes, The camel man will stop at a wonderful panoramic view to let you catch a magical sunset that will absolutely stay memorable in your mind. Upon arrival at the desert camp, take a much-needed shower in addition to a delicious Berber dinner. The atmosphere of the desert’s nights, filled with music and dances under a vast open sky of stars, will join you later.  Later, before going to sleep, walk a bit far away from the camp’s light to watch the breathtaking view of the stars.


    Day 6: Free exploration day in Merzouga Desert


    On the sixth day of your 11-day in Morocco, you will explore the desert region and gain insight into the survival strategies of these nomads. Also, we will have a visit to the famous Khamlia Village, where black people live after they immigrated from West African countries to live here in the desert. Enjoy their great instruments, have tea, and then give them a tip to support them. Mifiss Mountain, home to hundreds of mines, lies nearby. The French army first colonized the area, exporting every mineral they discovered to France. Before ending this amazing journey, have a delicious lunch at one of the region’s restaurants, and then we will directly take you to the hotel, which has a swimming pool, to enjoy the rest of the day.


    Day 7: Merzouga Desert » Rissani » Todgha Gorge » Boumalne Dades


    Ready to leave the breathtaking desert of Merzouga? Take a last wander at the closest dune to your hotel as a way to say goodbye to this absolutely incredible area. After completing your activities, we will proceed to Rissani, renowned for its breathtaking market that operates three times a week. If we are lucky, we will come on the day of the souk, a day where everybody is busy either selling or buying something. The market welcomes people from over 360 villages.

    Later, once we finish the strolling, we drive to Todgha Gorge, a must-see tourist attraction in Morocco. The Todga River carved the Todra Gorge, a natural oasis in the eastern part of the Atlas Mountains, through limestone over centuries. With canyon walls reaching over 400 meters high, it is taller than the Empire State Building in New York. Once we reach Boumalne, Dades, we drop you off in a quaint riad.


    Day 8: Boumalne Dades » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Tizi N’Tichka » Marrakech


    Today’s title is “Deep History” and “Fascinating Landscapes.” Before hitting the road to Ouarzazate, let’s pay a short visit to Dades Gorge, which lies between Boumalne and Msemrir town. The Dades Gorge extends over 170 km and remains a distinctive tourist destination. The valley, mixed with seductive and red colors, creates a magical place to live in the rhythm of cultures and invites us to discover wild nature, where natural laws reclaim their rights. These valleys are also known for the famous ‘Monkey Fingers’, which are a must-visit. From there, we move to Ouarzazate.

    The city of Ouarzazate’s settlement dates back to the dawn of history. Archaeologists have found numerous prehistoric rock carvings in the city and its surroundings, yet the city remains a mystery. The region’s first known inhabitants were the Berbers, followed by black Africans and Jews. The starting point of the Oasis Road, a commercial and cultural point that brought together various peoples in the north and south of the African continent. Next, we will set off again to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.

    A wonderful masterpiece in harmony with its natural and cultural environment. Built on a hill in the Ounila Valley, this complex stands out for its ramparts and defensive walls, bolstered by towers adorned with Berber symbols. Ait Ben Haddou Palace’s construction dates back to the 17th century. It played a major role in the Saharan trade. It was also an important trading center on the trade route that linked Sudan to Marrakesh via the Draa Valley and Tizi Netlouat. Later, we drive directly to Marrakech with only a stop in Tizi N’Tichka Pass. Once we arrive in Marrakech, we will drop you off in a lovely riad for the night.


    Day 9: Sightseeing tour in Marrakech with a Local tour guide


    Start a journey of exploration. Today, a local tour guide is on the agenda. The guide will show you all the tourist attractions in Marrakesh, which include: Jemaa El Fna Square: It is the beating heart of Marrakesh. Marrakesh’s walls, believed to date back to the 12th century, encircle the old city. In addition, Badi Palace, a historical palace dating back to the 16th century, is considered one of the world’s wonders.

    Additionally, you will explore the Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Mosque, a 12th-century historical mosque that embodies the city’s rich cultural heritage. Finally, you will arrive at Bahia Palace, a nineteenth-century palace that exudes luxury and exquisite design. Marrakesh is a multifaceted tourist destination characterized by its historical and cultural beauty, as well as the variety of activities that visitors can enjoy. Later, you will have free time to continue strolling and exploring the old city on your own.


    Day 10: Marrakech » Casablanca


    The tenth day of your 11-day in Morocco begins with a traditional breakfast at your Riad in Marrakech, followed by a journey to Casablanca. We will cover the distance of 244 km in 4 hours. Upon arrival in Casablanca, we will visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and the third largest in Africa. Next, make a tour of the Cornish of Casablanca, taste the fresh fish, and then drive to the hotel.


    Day 11: Casablanca » Airport Transfer
