    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier » Head to Chefchaouen


    Welcome to the country of wonders! Your first day of 12 days in Morocco starts with a welcome meeting at the airport of Ibnu Battuta in Tanger. Your experienced driver guide from Africa North Journeys will pick you up from there to the city center to show you the most interesting sites in Tanger, which is known as the bride of the north. First, explore the impressive Hercule Cave, home to stalactites and stalagmites sculpted over thousands of years.

    Next, visit Cupe Spartel, which serves as a strategic point along the Mediterranean coast and holds historical and cultural significance. Later, take a stroll through Tanger’s Medina. Afterwards, we cross the Rif Mountain to reach Chefchaouen. Upon arrival at Blue Pearl Town (Chefchaouen), feel free to make the most of your time strolling around the blue-painted alleys. Spend the night in a charming Riad located in the Medina.


    Day 2: Free Exploration Day in Chefchaouen


    12 Days in Morocco starts with a typical breakfast and then continues yesterday’s strolls and wanders. Today undoubtedly promises a serene escape into a world of captivating beauty. To make most of your journey memorable, make first a leisurely stroll through the medina’s alleys, where every corner reveals a new vista of vibrancy. The Medina is absolutely magical; the people are so nice and welcoming here. Later, after finishing with the Medina Hike, a bit to reach the Spanish Mosque, but before enjoying a delicious lunch at Ras El Ma to have some energy, it’s a very fascinating place where locals serve food in the middle of a baby river. Later, once you see the sunset from the top of the hill, make your way back to the Square of the Medina to enjoy the night’s atmosphere in this small town.


    Day 3: Chefchaouen » Volubilis » Meknes » Fes


    Ready to leave Chefchaouen? If so, then let’s hit the road to Fes. There is a long way ahead of us, but no worries, we will break it with some enchanting stops in two spectacular places, first Volubilis and then Meknes. Once we get to Volubilis the (Roman Ruins City), feel free to wander through these well-preserved mosaics and archaeological wonders. We recommend hiring a local guide who is knowledgeable about the deep history of this monument.

    Next, we continue to Meknes, the capital city of Morocco in a period of time and one of the Moroccan Four imperial cities. Here, feel free to visit the grand, majestic Bab el Mansour stands as a testament to the city’s former glory, also visit Sahrij and Hri Souani, Qara Prison and many More. Next have lunch in Meknes then travel to Fes, where you will enjoy a tranquil night in a traditional Riad.


    Day 4: Sightseeing tour in Fes with a local tour Guide


    The 12 Days in Morocco tour starts with an exploration day filled with history. Get lost in the Medina, immerse yourself in the local cuisine, culture, and traditions, explore one of the oldest Medinas in the world, dating back over 12 centuries. Get to know all the dynasties that have passed from here. Your visit with a local guide includes historical places that Fes is proud of. Such as the Najjarine Fountain, Medrasa Bouanania, Mallah Quarter, and lastly, the Quaraouin’s Mosque and University. Thereafter, the city tour with your local guide ends, we pick you up to your riad in the Medina for a second overnight.


    Day 5: Fes » Ifrane » Cedar Forest » Midelt » Zaida » Ziz Valley » Erfoud » Sahara Desert


    Today, we drive from Fes City to the stunning Sahara Desert of Merzouga, is undoubtedly an adventure filled with diverse landscapes and cultural experiences. On the way to the desert, we will make several stops. The first one is in Ifrane, often dubbed as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine architecture and lush greenery. Next, we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach the Cedar Forest, a home of Barbary macaques and breathtaking vistas.

    Furthermore, we visit Ziz Valley, where thousands of palm groves contrast with arid cliffs, creating a striking panorama. Once we are in Erfoud, the Gate to the Sahara Desert is known for its fossil-rich terrain and traditional Berber markets. Later, upon arrival in the Sahara Desert, you will get to experience camel treks, desert camping under a blanket of stars, and also encounter Berber nomads.


    Day 6: Free exploration day in Merzouga Desert


    Today, your 12 Days in Morocco Starts from the heart of the desert. Wake up early to Catch what might be  the best sunrise in your life. You can watch that just over the pretty small dunes in front of your camp, watch the color of the sand change as the sun rises. Later, after breakfast, we begin today’s exploration with a visit to the Nomads, where you can immerse yourself in their traditional, Culture, and way of life; Feel free to give them a tip. Afterwards, we continue to Mefiss Mountain, where hundreds of mines await discovery. The Mefiss Mountain, with its rugged beauty and panoramic views of the desert landscape, is a natural wonder.

    Next, we move to Khamila village, where stunning music and dance performances await you with a glass of tea. Once we decide to keep on the way don’t forget to give them a samll tip. Today’s lunch will be at a typical berber pizza-making restaurant. Later As the day ends, we take you for a walk through one of the closest oases in the area to marvel at the abundance of date palms and tranquil pools that dot the desert terrain. Once we finish today’s exploration, we transfer you to a first-rate hotel located at the edge of the dunes to continue your day, either walking on the dunes or taking a swim.


    Day 7: Merzouga Desert » Rissani » Todgha Gorge » Boumalne Dades


    Ready to hit the road and leave the Sahara Desert behind? Pack your luggage and let’s drive to Boumalne Dades, which unveils a tapestry of stunning landscapes and cultural gems. The way will lead us through the historic town of Rissani, an ancient ruin that offers a glimpse into Morocco’s rich heritage. The town is also renowned for its magnificent Souk market, which takes place every Sunday, Thursday, and Tuesday. Next, we move to Todgha Gorge, where towering cliffs carved by the Todgha River create a dramatic canyon landscape. Feel free to take a fresh, deep, clean breath and wander along the river. Later, we keep driving to Boumalne Dades, which will offer a serene retreat amidst nature’s splendor. Overnight in a charming riad.


    Day 8: Boumalne Dades » Rose Valley » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Tizi N’Tichka » Marrakech


    Today, your 12 days in Morocco still bringing wonders! After breakfast in your host, we embark on a journey to Marrakech, winding through the fragrant Rose Valley, where the scent of blossoming flowers fills the air. Many women’s cooperatives lie here; feel free to visit any of them. Afterward, we keep driving and make our second stop in Ouarzazate, renowned as the “Gateway to the Sahara” and home to majestic kasbahs.

    Here in Ouarzazate, you can catch a memorable picture in front of the Taouririt Kasbah, and you can also visit the Atlas studio, where hundreds of movies have been shot. The route will eventually lead us to Ait Ben Haddou’s iconic Kasbah. An ancient mud-brick architecture rises proudly against the desert sky. After taking a break for lunch, we Set off again to Marrakech through the Tizi N’Ichka Pass, traversing the High Atlas Mountains. Once we arrive in the Red City of Marrakech, we will promptly drop you off at your traditional riad.


    Day 9: Sightseeing tour in Marrakech with a Local tour guide


    Today is similar to Fes; you will be exploring the city’s attractions with a local tour guide who knows every single corner of the city, as well as all the hidden gems! Meet your guide at the Riad and start sightseeing in the city. The tour lasts around 3 hours and includes the following sites: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, and the Old Medina (Market). The tour also includes visits to the Koutoubia Mosque and Jamaa el F’na. Once you say goodbye to your local guide, you can keep wandering on your own in the Medina. Overnight at the same Riad.


    Day 10: Marrakech » Casablanca


    Continue the 12-day in Morocco to Casablanca. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your riad in the Medina, feel free to take a final stroll around the Medina and its surroundings. At around midday, we move to Casablanca for an overnight stay in an overlooking hotel near the Hassan II Mosque.


    Day 11: Casablanca » Rabat » Asilah


    Pay a short visit to the iconic landmark (Hassan II Mosque). The Hassan II Mosque is a symbol of architectural grandeur and cultural significance in Casablanca. King Hassan II ordered its construction in 1993 to give the city some attention. Next, we drive to Rabat, the Moroccan capital city, as well as the current Royal City of Morocco. Here, you have two main historical monuments to visit. First is the Hassan Tower, and second is the Oudays Kasbah. (Lunch in the Road) Later, we will travel to Asilah for an overnight stay at a fabulous Riad. 


    Day 12: Asilah » Tangier Ibnu Battuta Airport.


    We will transfer you to the Ibnu Battuta airport in Tangier on the final day of your 12-days in Morocco.
