⇒ Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
The 11 Days tour in Morocco, will start with a pick up from the airport of Marrakech, Menara. Our Driver Guide will transfer you to your Riad at the old Medina, for overnight stay in a charming Riad.
⇒Day 2: Full Day to Visit Marrakech with a Local Guide.
Today, you will have a sightseeing guided tour of Marrakech Medina with a local experienced guide. An expert who knows the area very well. The visit includes Medina, and its souks and narrow alleys, and the famous Mosque of Koutoubia. Explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets and interesting sites such as the Saadian, the Bahia Palace, Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens. Transfer back to your traditional Riad in the Medina. In the evening you can have a walk in jamaa el fna and dinner on your own.
⇒ Day 3: Marrakech » Essaouira [170 km]
Departure from Marrakech in the morning at Around 9:00, after several stops to enjoy the scenery of the trip and take pictures, reach the port city of Essaouira at around 11:00. Explore the Medina, the ramparts and taste the cultural wealth of the city and its many art galleries. Admire the architecture of old, well-preserved buildings and enjoy magnificent views of the Skala on the Atlantic coast. Enjoy freshly caught fish at one of the many traditional restaurants, however to the old Jewish quarter to admire the synagogues. Later we Drive you to your Riad at the old Medina of Essaouira, Overnight stay including Dinner and breakfast.
⇒ Day 4: Essaouira » Agadir [175 km]
Today after breakfast and much more needed shower we start Our tour at around 8 am from your Riad in Essaouira driving to the beautiful city of Agadir. Here you will meet your local guide who will open his heart to explain and to tell you the history of this amazing city. Firstly you will start by going to the Kasbah Agadir Oufella former palace, which was built during the 16th century by King Mohammad Achaikh of the Saadian dynasty.
This charming place will offer you a perfect panoramic view of the harbor and all the new city of Agadir, which was built after the 1960’s earthquake. After this visit, you will be led through various areas of the city where you will be able to stop to discover the biggest mosque of the area: the Mohamed V Mosque. In the afternoon, depending on your personal preferences, you will be able escape in the sea on a boat that will take you to the heart of the Atlantic Ocean. Later we Drive to drop you off in your Hotel for an Overnight stay.
⇒ Day 5: Agadir » Ouarzazate [357 km]
From Agadir we start our Day, around 8:00 pm and head to Ouarzazate via Agdz. Ouarzazate is a city in southern Morocco, also known as the “gateway to the desert”. Located at the meeting of the river valleys Ouarzazate and Dades (from the High Atlas) that form the Draa downstream of their confluence. It is a place where you get to see the numerous kasbahs, mountains, valleys and numerous oases, as well as palm groves and villages of ocher, which are the charm of this region.
Once we arrive to Ouarzazate, we will stop for lunch meal then we are going to visit the Ait benHaddou Kasbah. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture, Kasbah became famous thanks to the films that were shot on it such as: The Mummy, Gladiator, at noon we arrive at our destination Ouarzazet for an overnight stay in a charming Riad or Hotel.
⇒ Day 6 : Ouarzazete » Dades valley » Todgha Gorges » Sahara Desert [ 250 km ]
After breakfast, we start our adventure from Ouarzazate city, driving through the Gorges valley. We stop on a spot overlooking the valley, to enjoy the spectacular of this amazing God landscape. Afterwards we continue our way to Todgha Gorges Here. Both the Todra and Dades Rivers have carved out cliff-sided canyons on their final 25-mile stretch through the mountains, leaving behind this series of reliefs and etches in the rock. Feel free to have a walk in this amazing place. Where you can take a deep breath and enjoy the moment before we leave for the Sahara desert of Merzoua.
A Berber villages are scattered along the way, after lunch we’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to Merzouga where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across high dunes, for sunset reaching the highest point of the big sand mountains. And a night in a luxury camp with Berber Drums music while Dancing around the campfire, under the vast open sky of stars in the middle of the Sahara desert. Dinner and overnight stay in the Camp.
⇒ Day 7: Explore Merzouga area & Visit nomad families [40 Km]
After a Healthy Moroccan breakfast in your camp. We will hike the dunes by 4×4 to start our tour, in around the Erg Chebbi dunes. Populated desert region of sand: Among the many stops that lie ahead. You will have an opportunity of life to discover how and where nomadic families living in the area. Then we pay the nomads a visit, in their handmade woven tent. Inevitable stop as we passed through the village of Khamelia of people originating in Mali and Senegal. We will enjoy a nice concert of Gnawa music, while a delicious tea taste.
Afterwards we continue to Mefiss a place where Berber were worked in extracting Eyeliner from the mountains, since many years ago. And where the French army were lived in colonial days. We stay for a few minutes, and we keep going to a local restaurant specialized in Berber Pizzas. Back to the hotel to relax and enjoy your free time, Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
⇒ Day 8: Merzouga » Rissani » Ziz Valley » Midelt » Fes [467 km]
This Morning of your 11 Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech. Will be an early one in our Tour, because we will rise up and hike up the dune. In order to enjoy what may just be the best sunrise in your life. and our amazing breakfast and a much-needed shower, you will meet your driver guide to start a new day of adventure. Leaving toward Rissani, Er-foud, Errachidia stop at the authentic Oasis of “Ouelad Chaker” for a panoramic magic view of thousands of palm trees.
Arriving at Midelt for lunch. Our tour will continue to the Cedar forest of Azrou,where the Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them in a careful way. Afterwards we drove to Ifrane, which is known as the Small Switzerland of Morocco, it’s famous for snow and alpine-style houses and its low temperature. Quickly explore the city then we continue to Fes city drop you off in your Riad at old Medina.
⇒ Day 9: Fes (Visit the city with a local guide).
Today we start it with an exploration of the Highlights of Fes with a local guide. Who knows the area very well. The city is considered as one of the imperial cities in Morocco, Our first visit will be the Royal Palace gate. Secondly, the well preserved medieval Medina, which is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will enter the Heart of Medina to visit The Medersa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, and the Tanneries. You will visit the Bab Bab Boujloud, And in the end the Quaraouin mosque and university, the oldest one in the world. After finishing our visit to Medina, we leave for the Jewish quarter which is known as ” the Mellah ” . In the afternoon, we drove to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of Medina and the city. Return to our riad.
⇒ Day 10: Fes – Meknes » Volubilis ruins » Chefchaouen
After a good breakfast in our Riad. We start our exploration day and visit one of the most important historical monuments dating back thousands of years. Starting with Meknes city, the Ismaili capital and one of the imperial cities in Morocco. Which is famous by the Bab Al – Mansour , Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables , the granary and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. A short break for lunch.
Aftereards we drive to Volubilis throughout Molay Idriss Zerhoun, It is famous for being the site of the tomb of Idriss and the first major Islamic ruler of Morocco, we Stop for a panoramic view of this beautiful place then we head to Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins. It is well preserved , as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there , along with ancient pillars and archways . After strolling in the ruins , we head north through Ouazzane , to reach Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains . Also known as the (Blue city) of Morocco. The city is famous for its buildings and alleyways painted in blue and white. Overnight stay in a lovely Riad or Hotel.
⇒ Day 11: Transfer to the Tangier airport
After breakfast , depending on your flight time , you can have a free time to stroll in the beautiful alleyways of the blue city , before we drive through the Rif mountains to reach Tangier , then we transfer you to the airport. From here our 11 Days tour in Morocco From Marrakech ends.
